In this eleventh year of our program, we have experienced several noteworthy accomplishments resulting from the hard work, focused attention, and commitment of our faculty, staff, students, and alums! Western University of Health Sciences’ College of Pharmacy has two of them. Only nine fellowship programs in the U.S. meet the American College of Clinical Pharmacy’s (ACCP) rigorous standards and guidelines for certification.
Members of this Committee shall include a broad-based group of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, faculty, and others from institutional, community, and other pharmacy practice settings. Experiential learning is the hallmark of Sullivan University College of Pharmacy’s approach to educating the next generation of pharmacy leaders. We also offer six post-graduate residency programs to provide additional training in inpatient, outpatient and managed care pharmacy settings.
The Pharmacy Technician program boasts several advantages including pharmacists on faculty, an in-house compounding laboratory, community and institutional mock pharmacies, and a Drug Information Center. Our program is grounded in a commitment to the professionalism of student pharmacists achieved through community outreach, involvement in professional organizations and advocacy for the profession. We offer a 3-year accelerated Pharm.D. program in a highly experiential, student-focused learning environment led by world-class faculty.
Our students apply their pharmacy knowledge—through service and practice—to foster healthier communities now. Our clinical faculty integrate teaching with pharmacy practice in settings from community clinics to hospital systems. Our students thrive on close mentorship within our school and broad scholarly opportunity across Rutgers, a top-tier research university and academic health center.
